“It was so good to have time where you are not worrying about the effects of chemo.”
In the past 21 years of marriage to his wife Lesley-Anne, our dreamer, Malcolm has built a family and a life that many can only dream of.
First diagnosed with both bowel and liver cancer in 2015, his fight continued when it was found once again in 2017. Malcolm’s dream was to travel back to Tasmania, where he was born and bred, to relive old memories and create new ones.
“Every time I had been to Tasmania it was for funerals. This time I was going for a holiday.”
Our dreamer found the greatest joy in reminiscing with old friends and relatives who forged the days of his childhood. While decades have separated them, our dreamer has held their memories close to his heart through the gruelling battle of cancer.
