Frank shows us that dreams don’t just affect patients on the day they come true, but they provide long lasting benefits to them and their families. Most importantly a sense of hope and optimism is ignited in people’s lives. Giving patients the chance to dream can change their whole outlook on life and the future.
Since being Frank’s diagnosis two years ago, Frank’s treatment has been a long and hard road. When offered the chance to have a dream come true, Frank immediately requested a week away with his family, since they haven’t been away together since 2013. This getaway would allow much needed relaxation and rejuvenation from a long battle that has affected the whole family.
“It’s hard to believe, but my husband felt better from the very beginning. He continued to improve over the weekend, venturing out to lunch each day, something he had not done for months. He has continued to improve since our return, and seems like a different person. My family and I would like to thank you for this amazing opportunity, and the amazing effect it has had on Frank, and us all. Thank you for making our dream come true.”
